Agebut Ahmet Pasha Mosque

"It is built in the south of the fortress, next to the High Tambia (High Tower). It is a beautiful, tiled building with bells and a minaret, of plain, free construction, with gardens and vineyards like those of Irem. The poorhouse and the seminary are in a garden nest to the mosque. In the seminary, which is to the left, there is a water cistern, surrounded by the students' rooms. Day and night they study the hadith (a collection of Muslim sacred tradition).
